Software Engineer
Design and implement scalable data architectures, integrating diverse data sources and enabling analytics pipelines using SQL, ETL processes, AWS cloud services, and Python for a remote US‑based team.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and evolve enterprise‑wide data models and schemas to support analytics, reporting, and machine‑learning initiatives.
- Develop, optimize, and maintain ETL pipelines that ingest, transform, and load data from on‑premise and cloud sources.
- Architect data solutions on AWS, leveraging services such as Redshift, S3, Glue, and Lambda for scalability and reliability.
- Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and product owners to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Establish data governance, security, and quality standards, ensuring compliance with industry best practices.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in data architecture, data modeling, and database design.
- Proficiency in SQL and scripting with Python for data manipulation and automation.
- Hands‑on experience building ETL workflows and data pipelines using tools such as AWS Glue, Airflow, or similar.
- Deep knowledge of AWS data services (Redshift, S3, RDS, Lambda) and cloud‑native architecture patterns.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to solve complex data integration challenges and mentor junior team members.
