Software Engineer
Lead the design of scalable, secure data architectures using AWS and Big Data technologies, driving integration, analytics, and governance across enterprise platforms.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect end‑to‑end data solutions that align with business goals and technical standards.
- Define and enforce data modeling, ETL pipelines, and governance frameworks across cloud and on‑prem environments.
- Collaborate with engineering, analytics, and security teams to ensure performance, reliability, and compliance.
- Evaluate emerging data technologies and recommend adoption to enhance scalability and cost efficiency.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship on best practices for data architecture and architecture patterns.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience designing enterprise data architectures, preferably in a cloud environment (AWS, Azure).
- Proficiency with ETL/ELT tools, Big Data platforms (Spark, Hadoop), and relational databases (SQL).
- Strong understanding of data governance, security, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication skills to translate complex technical concepts to stakeholders.
- Experience with containerization (Docker) and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
