About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze existing data pipelines and identify architectural gaps for AI training datasets.
- Design and document scalable data models, ETL workflows, and storage solutions on cloud platforms.
- Collaborate with AI researchers to provide high‑quality, well‑structured data for model training.
- Implement best practices for data governance, security, and compliance across multi‑cloud environments.
- Provide ongoing mentorship to junior data engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Data Architect or senior Data Engineer.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, and cloud data services (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Strong background in ETL design, data modeling, and big‑data technologies (Spark, Hive, etc.).
- Experience working with AI/ML teams and understanding of data needs for model training.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote setting.
