Software Engineer
Lead the design and implementation of AI‑driven data solutions across the LATAM region, leveraging cloud, big data, and advanced analytics to empower business decisions and drive innovation.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect end‑to‑end data pipelines and lakehouse solutions that support AI and analytics workloads across multiple industries.
- Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and product teams to translate business requirements into scalable, cloud‑native data architectures.
- Define and enforce data governance, quality, and security standards, ensuring compliance with regional regulations.
- Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies (e.g., serverless, streaming, ML‑ops) to continuously improve performance and cost efficiency.
- Mentor and guide cross‑functional teams on best practices for data modeling, metadata management, and performance tuning.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience designing enterprise data platforms, preferably in a cloud environment (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, and modern data processing frameworks (Spark, Flink, or similar).
- Hands‑on experience with data lakehouse architectures, Delta Lake, or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of AI/ML pipelines and how to integrate them into data workflows.
- Excellent communication skills and a proven ability to influence stakeholders across technical and business domains.
