Summary:
The Emerging Technologies Enablement Team (ETE) performs data labeling tasks that support machine learning model and AI development within the Tech organization and across Capital One. This team plays a critical role in reviewing, evaluating, and annotating data to train AI models with the highest quality, accuracy, relevance, fluency, and compliance standards.
Work Setup: WFH. Candidates must be amenable to a night shift schedule.
General Responsibilities :
Review and analyze AI-generated responses for accuracy, clarity, and relevance
Annotate data entry, perform data research activities according to Data Scientist instruction and Capital One guidelines
Assist in developing and refining annotation guidelines to ensure consistency and quality in the labeling process
Identify and report any data quality issues or anomalies encountered during annotation process
Manage workload appropriately; efficiently service multiple requests, work with AI development team or dedicated lines of business to execute within deadlines
Collaborate within teams and across teams as part of process initiatives and performance standards
Expected to maintain SME knowledge of processes and support production work to maintain workflow and meet established deadlines
Potential assignment or rotation across related sub-functions
Exhibits flexibility and responds quickly to meet changing business needs including other job-related duties that may be assigned from time to time
Basic Qualifications:
Educational Background: At least 2 years of college education, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
Professional Experience:
Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience in a BPO, customer service, operations, quality evaluation, content review, or a similar process-driven environment.
Experience interpreting and applying business policies, procedures, or standardized guidelines is preferred.
Skills Required:
Strong reading comprehension and attention to detail.
Sound analytical and critical thinking skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to consistently apply evaluation rubrics and operational guidelines.
Ability to identify inconsistencies and escalate issues appropriately.
Effective time management and organizational skills while handling multiple priorities.
Comfortable working with spreadsheets, evaluation platforms, and technology-enabled workflows.
