Software Engineer
Data and Visualisation Engineer building robust data pipelines and interactive dashboards using Python, SQL, Tableau and Power BI to empower investment decisions across asset management and life insurance segments.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain scalable ETL pipelines to ingest, cleanse and transform large financial datasets.
- Build and optimise interactive dashboards in Tableau and Power BI for senior stakeholders.
- Collaborate with data scientists and business analysts to translate analytical requirements into technical solutions.
- Ensure data quality, governance and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Document architecture, processes and best practices for future maintenance.
Requirements
- Proven experience with Python (pandas, SQLAlchemy) and advanced SQL for data manipulation.
- Strong proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
- Hands‑on experience with ETL tools and data warehousing concepts.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment.
- Effective communication skills to present complex insights to non‑technical audiences.
