Lead the design and execution of enterprise‑wide data and AI governance, ensuring ethical, compliant, and secure use of data and AI solutions through policy, controls, and stakeholder collaboration.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive data and AI governance framework that aligns with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Define policies, standards, and controls for data quality, privacy, security, and AI model lifecycle management.
- Lead risk assessment and mitigation activities for AI projects, ensuring ethical use and compliance with applicable laws.
- Collaborate with data, engineering, product, and legal teams to embed governance practices into development pipelines.
- Provide guidance and training to stakeholders on governance policies, data stewardship, and responsible AI principles.
Requirements
- Proven experience in data governance and AI governance within a large enterprise.
- Deep knowledge of regulatory frameworks (GDPR, CCPA, AI Act, etc.) and risk management practices.
- Strong analytical and communication skills, able to translate complex regulations into actionable policies.
- Experience with data cataloging, metadata management, and model monitoring tools.
- Ability to influence cross‑functional teams and drive adoption of governance standards.
