Software Engineer
Responsible for collecting, cleaning, analyzing, and visualizing data to produce actionable reports that support mental‑health program outcomes and stakeholder decision‑making.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources (e.g., databases, spreadsheets, APIs) to maintain a reliable data warehouse.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and visual reports using Tableau and Excel to track program performance and outcomes.
- Perform statistical analysis and generate insights that inform service improvements and funding reports.
- Collaborate with program staff and leadership to define reporting requirements and ensure data quality.
- Document data definitions, reporting processes, and create user guides for non‑technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- Proven experience with SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
- Strong proficiency in Tableau (or similar BI tools) and advanced Excel functions.
- Working knowledge of Python (pandas, NumPy) for data cleaning and analysis.
- Ability to translate complex data into clear visualizations and concise narratives.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset in a mission‑driven environment.
