Data & Integrations Engineer - Alternate Solutions Health Network

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and develop integration pipelines for real‑time and batch data exchange between electronic health record (EHR) systems and partner platforms.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and leadership to translate functional requirements into technical specifications.
• Implement, test, and maintain APIs, web services, and messaging standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR) to ensure reliable data flow.
• Build and optimize ETL processes using Python and SQL, leveraging cloud services such as AWS for scalability and security.
• Monitor integration performance, troubleshoot issues, and apply best practices for data governance and compliance.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience designing and implementing data integration solutions in a healthcare or regulated environment.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and API development (REST/SOAP).
• Hands‑on experience with HL7, FHIR, or similar health‑care messaging standards.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS) and related services for data processing and storage.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work cross‑functionally with both technical and non‑technical teams.
