About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes using Python and SQL to support transport analytics initiatives.
- Implement and manage data storage and processing solutions on AWS, ensuring scalability, security and high availability.
- Build interactive dashboards and visualisations with Tableau/Power BI to communicate insights to stakeholders.
- Apply machine learning techniques to predict demand, optimise routes and improve operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define data requirements, validate models and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
Requirements
- Proven experience in data engineering and analytics within a large, complex environment.
- Strong programming skills in Python and proficiency with SQL databases.
- Hands‑on experience with AWS services (S3, Redshift, Glue, SageMaker).
- Demonstrated ability to create compelling visualisations and dashboards.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and a passion for delivering data‑driven outcomes.
