Data Engineer
Versatile Data & Analytics Engineer responsible for designing, building, and optimizing data pipelines and analytics solutions using Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Power BI, SQL, and Python.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain end‑to‑end data pipelines in Azure Data Factory and Microsoft Fabric to ingest, transform, and store large‑scale datasets.
- Build scalable data models and semantic layers that support self‑service reporting and advanced analytics in Power BI.
- Collaborate with data scientists, product owners, and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust data solutions.
- Implement data quality, monitoring, and performance‑tuning practices to ensure reliability and low latency of analytics workloads.
- Automate data workflows and CI/CD pipelines using Python scripts and Azure DevOps.
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands‑on experience with Azure Data Factory, Microsoft Fabric, and Power BI.
- Strong SQL proficiency and experience building relational and dimensional models.
- Proficient in Python for data manipulation, orchestration, and automation.
- Solid understanding of cloud data architecture, data warehousing concepts, and best practices for data governance.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in an agile, cross‑functional team.
