Software Engineer
Data & AI Specialist who guides nonprofit clients through Windfall’s AI solutions, leveraging Python, SQL, and AWS to deliver actionable insights and support data-driven decision making.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary technical liaison for nonprofit customers, answering questions and providing expert guidance on Windfall’s AI and data solutions.
- Analyze customer data sets using Python and SQL to develop tailored insights, dashboards, and predictive models.
- Design and implement machine learning pipelines on AWS, ensuring scalability, security, and compliance with nonprofit data standards.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to translate customer feedback into feature enhancements and best‑practice documentation.
- Deliver training sessions and workshops to empower clients to independently use data tools and interpret results.
Requirements
- Proven experience building data pipelines and ML models in Python, with strong SQL skills.
- Hands‑on knowledge of AWS services (SageMaker, Lambda, S3, Redshift).
- Excellent communication skills and a customer‑centric mindset, especially with nonprofit stakeholders.
- Strong problem‑solving ability and meticulous attention to detail.
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or similar) is a plus.
