Systems Engineer
Lead Data & AI operations, driving end‑to‑end pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and ML model deployment using Python, SQL, AWS, and DevOps practices to support regulatory analytics and consumer protection initiatives.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement and maintain scalable data pipelines and AI workflows that support regulatory decision‑making.
- Lead the migration of legacy systems to cloud (AWS) and modernize data architecture using DataOps principles.
- Collaborate with data scientists to operationalize machine learning models, ensuring reproducibility and performance monitoring.
- Define and enforce data governance, security, and compliance standards across all data assets.
- Mentor and grow a cross‑functional team of engineers, analysts and ML specialists.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering, AI operations or related field.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
- Hands‑on experience with DataOps/ML Ops tools (Airflow, dbt, Sagemaker, etc.).
- Strong understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to translate technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
