About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the data and AI strategy to support curriculum development, research, and operational analytics.
- Architect, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and machine‑learning workflows on cloud platforms (AWS/GCP).
- Lead cross‑functional teams of data engineers, scientists, and business analysts, ensuring timely delivery of high‑quality AI products.
- Manage stakeholder expectations, translate business requirements into technical specifications, and communicate progress to senior leadership.
- Implement best practices for data governance, security, and model monitoring in a hybrid learning environment.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience delivering data‑driven and AI solutions, preferably in higher‑education or professional services.
- Strong proficiency in Python and modern ML libraries (e.g., scikit‑learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Hands‑on experience with cloud services (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and data‑engineering tools such as Spark, Airflow, or dbt.
- Proven project‑management skills, including agile methodologies and stakeholder coordination.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non‑technical audiences.
