Devops Engineer
Lead the design and implementation of scalable data analytics platforms using Python, Spark, and AWS to transform structured and unstructured data into actionable insights for mission‑critical applications.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and develop end‑to‑end data pipelines that ingest, transform, and store large volumes of structured and unstructured data across cloud and on‑prem environments.
- Implement data lake solutions on AWS (S3, Glue, Lake Formation) and optimize query performance with partitioning, clustering, and cost‑effective storage strategies.
- Collaborate with data scientists and business stakeholders to define data models, schemas, and metadata standards that support advanced analytics and machine learning workloads.
- Ensure data quality, lineage, and governance through automated testing, monitoring, and documentation.
- Mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and promote best practices in data engineering, security, and DevOps.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building data engineering solutions in a cloud environment, preferably AWS.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and Apache Spark for large‑scale data processing.
- Hands‑on experience with data lake architecture, ETL tooling, and data cataloging.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, schema design, and performance tuning.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
