Software Engineer
Lead a data analytics team to translate clinical and operational data into actionable insights, using Python, SQL, and Tableau to drive evidence‑based decisions and improve patient outcomes.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain analytical dashboards and reports that support clinical, research, and operational decision‑making.
- Lead data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes from electronic health records, research databases, and other sources.
- Collaborate with clinicians, researchers, and business stakeholders to define metrics, formulate hypotheses, and deliver data‑driven recommendations.
- Mentor and manage a team of analysts, ensuring best practices in data quality, documentation, and reproducibility.
- Implement statistical models and predictive analytics to identify trends, improve patient outcomes, and optimize resource utilization.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or higher in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Statistics, Biomedical Engineering) with 5+ years of analytics experience, preferably in healthcare.
- Proficiency in Python (pandas, NumPy, scikit‑learn) and SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
- Strong expertise in data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional projects and communicate complex findings to non‑technical audiences.
- Experience with healthcare data standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR) and regulatory considerations is a plus.
