Data Analytics Engineer - Canadian Bank Note Company, Limited

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL pipelines to ingest, cleanse, and transform large volumes of structured and semi‑structured data.
• Build and optimize data models and schemas that support advanced analytics and reporting across security, identity, and compliance domains.
• Collaborate with data scientists, product owners, and business stakeholders to translate analytical requirements into technical solutions.
• Implement data quality checks, monitoring, and documentation to ensure data integrity and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Deploy and manage analytical workloads on cloud platforms, ensuring performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.

Requirements

• Proven experience in Python and SQL for data manipulation and pipeline development.
• Strong background in ETL processes, data warehousing, and data modeling.
• Hands‑on experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and cloud data services (e.g., AWS Redshift, Azure Synapse).
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Effective communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
