About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets related to water supply, treatment, and distribution systems.
- Develop and maintain GIS maps and spatial models to support infrastructure planning and performance assessment.
- Create interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau or Power BI to communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Apply statistical techniques and predictive modeling to forecast demand, identify inefficiencies, and recommend optimization strategies.
- Collaborate with civil engineers, planners, and municipal partners to integrate data insights into project design and decision‑making.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
- Proficiency in Python (pandas, NumPy, GeoPandas) and SQL for data manipulation and extraction.
- Experience with GIS software (ArcGIS, QGIS) and spatial analysis.
- Strong data visualization skills using Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to translate technical results into actionable recommendations.
