About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain SQL queries to extract and transform Medicaid data for TMSIS reporting.
- Analyze large datasets using Python to identify trends, anomalies, and insights for program improvement.
- Create interactive dashboards and visualizations in Tableau to communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the Financing, Analytics, and Data Governance Division to ensure data quality, compliance, and adherence to public health standards.
- Document data processes, maintain metadata, and support data governance initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Public Health, Computer Science, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis within a healthcare or public health environment.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, and Tableau.
- Strong understanding of Medicaid data structures and TMSIS reporting requirements.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a virtual team.
