Data Analyst
Data Analyst responsible for consolidating operational data, creating dashboards, and delivering actionable insights to senior leadership using SQL, Python, Tableau, and advanced Excel techniques.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from multiple operational sources to support situational awareness and incident reporting.
- Design and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards and Power‑BI reports for senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Develop automated SQL queries and Python scripts to extract, transform, and load data into reporting systems.
- Prepare concise briefings, bulletins, and presentations that translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
- Collaborate with regional operations, dispatch centers, and partner agencies to validate data accuracy and ensure timely delivery of information.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis within an operations or emergency management environment.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python (pandas, NumPy), and data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power‑BI.
- Strong Excel skills, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and VBA.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical findings to non‑technical audiences.
- Experience with data integration from disparate systems and a solid understanding of data governance best practices.
