Seasoned Data Analyst for a 16‑month internal assurance contract, responsible for extracting, cleaning, and visualizing financial data, performing statistical analysis, and delivering actionable insights to support risk and compliance initiatives.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Extract, transform, and load data from multiple financial systems using SQL and Python.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports in Tableau to monitor assurance metrics.
- Perform statistical analyses to identify trends, anomalies, and risk indicators.
- Collaborate with internal audit and compliance teams to translate findings into actionable recommendations.
- Document data pipelines, analytical methods, and validation procedures for auditability.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably within financial services or internal audit.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python for data manipulation and automation.
- Strong expertise in Tableau or similar data‑visualization tools.
- Solid understanding of statistical techniques and data modeling concepts.
- Excellent communication skills to present complex findings to non‑technical stakeholders.
