About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and validate datasets related to alcohol distribution, sales, and public health outcomes.
- Perform exploratory data analysis and statistical modeling to identify trends and policy impacts.
- Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations in Tableau to communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Prepare concise reports and briefing materials that translate data insights into actionable policy recommendations.
- Collaborate with senior analysts and policy experts to support research projects and advocacy initiatives.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Economics, Public Policy, Statistics, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Python (pandas, NumPy) and SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
- Experience creating visualizations and dashboards using Tableau or similar tools.
- Strong analytical mindset with ability to conduct statistical analysis and interpret results.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on presenting complex data to non‑technical audiences.
