Data Analyst – Insurance (Power BI, SQL, Python) Bangalore, Delhi · Full-time · Hybrid

About the Role We are seeking a Data Analyst with strong expertise in Power BI, SQL, and Python, along with a solid understanding of the insurance domain. The role focuses on delivering actionable insights, robust reporting, and data-driven decision support across various insurance functions. The ideal candidate will have experience in the insurance domain and be able to derive business insights and trends.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze large datasets to derive business insights and trends
• Support decision-making across underwriting, claims, actuarial, and finance
• Perform exploratory data analysis and root cause analysis
• Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI
• Write complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and validation
• Work with data warehouses/lakehouse environments
• Use Python for data wrangling and advanced analysis
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements
• Translate business requirements into analytical solutions
• Create Source to Target Mapping documents by deep diving into existing systems
• Work with Data Engineers and Data Modelers in eliciting business requirements and related functional documents

Requirements

• Have 3–7 years of experience
• Possess experience in the insurance domain
• Have technical skills in SQL, Python, Power BI, and Data Warehousing/Lakehouse
• Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving ability
• Exhibit excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
