About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough data quality assessments and validation routines to guarantee accuracy of insurance datasets.
- Develop and maintain Excel workbooks with advanced formulas, macros, and Pivot Tables for ad‑hoc analysis.
- Design interactive Power BI dashboards and reports that visualize key performance indicators for underwriting, claims, and policy management.
- Collaborate with underwriting, claims, and actuarial teams to translate business requirements into data solutions.
- Identify data anomalies, document findings, and recommend corrective actions to improve data governance.
Requirements
- Proven experience with Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, macros, and Pivot Tables.
- Strong proficiency in Power BI for data modeling, DAX, and visual storytelling.
- Hands‑on experience in data validation and data quality techniques within an insurance or financial context.
- Excellent analytical mindset with the ability to interpret large datasets and communicate insights clearly.
- Detail‑oriented, self‑motivated, and capable of working cross‑functionally in a fast‑paced environment.
