Data Analyst
Experienced Data Analyst III needed to turn complex environmental and operational data into actionable insights for water quality, infrastructure planning, and public health using Python, SQL, GIS, and visualization tools.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Extract, clean, and integrate large datasets from water monitoring, laboratory, and infrastructure sources.
- Develop dashboards and visual reports in Tableau and GIS to communicate water quality trends and operational performance.
- Perform statistical analyses and predictive modeling to identify factors affecting river health and infrastructure efficiency.
- Collaborate with engineers, scientists, and policy makers to translate data findings into actionable recommendations.
- Maintain data pipelines, ensure data integrity, and document analytical methods for reproducibility.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Environmental Engineering, Statistics, or related field; Master’s preferred.
- 5+ years of professional experience in data analysis, preferably in environmental or public works contexts.
- Proficiency in Python (pandas, NumPy) and SQL for data manipulation and querying.
- Strong experience with Tableau, GIS platforms, and statistical tools such as R or similar.
- Excellent communication skills to present complex findings to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
