About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Clean, transform, and validate large geospatial datasets using Python and SQL.
- Apply GIS techniques to identify spatial patterns, anomalies, and compliance gaps.
- Develop interactive visualizations and dashboards to communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with data scientists to supply high‑quality features for machine learning pipelines.
- Document data processes, maintain metadata, and ensure data integrity across the organization.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Python (pandas, geopandas, numpy) and SQL for data manipulation.
- Strong GIS knowledge, including spatial analysis and experience with PostGIS or similar.
- Experience creating visualizations with tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or matplotlib.
- Understanding of machine learning concepts and ability to translate data insights into model features.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
