About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and validate health data from multiple sources, including surveillance systems and community partners.
- Perform statistical analyses and generate reports to inform HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis, STD, and TB program strategies.
- Develop dashboards and visualizations using tools such as Tableau or Power BI to communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Support the design, monitoring, and evaluation of public health interventions aimed at reducing health disparities.
- Collaborate with local agencies and program staff to translate data insights into actionable recommendations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python for data manipulation and analysis.
- Experience with statistical methods and epidemiologic concepts applied to infectious disease data.
- Strong data visualization skills and ability to present complex information clearly.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a focus on health equity.
