Data Analyst
Analyze and synthesize multi‑source intelligence data to support DEA operations, using SQL, Python, and visualization tools to produce actionable insights for law‑enforcement initiatives.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and integrate data from diverse internal and external sources, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Perform exploratory and statistical analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies relevant to drug enforcement activities.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations that communicate findings to investigators and senior stakeholders.
- Design and automate ETL pipelines using SQL and Python to streamline data workflows and improve timeliness of intelligence delivery.
- Collaborate with forensic accountants, intelligence analysts, and law‑enforcement partners to translate analytical results into actionable recommendations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
- Strong programming skills in Python, including libraries such as pandas, NumPy, and matplotlib/seaborn.
- Experience creating data visualizations and dashboards using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct statistical analysis and present complex findings clearly to non‑technical audiences.
