Data Analyst role focused on maintaining and enhancing the Company Basic Register, applying statistical methods, data cleaning, and reporting to support cross‑sectional and principle‑based analyses using Python, SQL, R, and advanced Excel techniques.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and validate company‑level data from multiple sources to support the Basic Register.
- Develop and maintain SQL queries and Python scripts for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
- Apply statistical techniques in R to analyze trends, detect anomalies, and generate insights for policy development.
- Create dynamic dashboards and visualizations in Excel and Power BI to communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Prepare detailed reports, technical documentation, and presentations for internal and external audiences.
Requirements
- Degree in Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or related field.
- Proven experience with Python, SQL, and R for data analysis.
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on data quality and integrity.
- Excellent communication skills in German and English.
- Experience with data visualization tools and reporting frameworks.
