About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and transform data from multiple city departments and external sources.
- Develop and maintain SQL queries, data pipelines, and automated reporting solutions.
- Create interactive visualizations and dashboards using tools such as Tableau or Power BI to communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Perform statistical analyses and predictive modeling to support policy and operational decisions.
- Utilize GIS software to map spatial data and conduct geographic analyses.
- Document data processes, ensure data quality, and provide training to end‑users.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, mathematics, science, information technology, geography, business, or a related field.
- Minimum four years of progressive technical experience in data analysis, reporting, or a similar role.
- Proficiency with SQL and a programming language such as Python for data manipulation.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and GIS applications.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
