Data Analyst
Data Analyst responsible for extracting, transforming, and visualizing security‑related data to drive insights, support product decisions, and improve customer experience using SQL, Python, and BI tools.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Extract, clean, and transform large datasets from internal security systems and third‑party sources using SQL and Python.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports in Tableau and Power BI to monitor key performance indicators and support business decisions.
- Perform ad‑hoc analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for product and service improvements.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and customer support teams to define data requirements and ensure data quality.
- Document data pipelines, analytical methodologies, and findings for stakeholders across the organization.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis or a related field, preferably in security, IoT, or consumer technology.
- Proficiency in SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and Python (pandas, NumPy) for data manipulation and analysis.
- Strong hands‑on experience building visualizations and dashboards with Tableau or Power BI.
- Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data quality best practices.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex data insights into actionable recommendations for non‑technical audiences.
