Data Analyst role focused on extracting, transforming, and visualizing healthcare and financial data using SQL, Python, and BI tools to drive strategic decisions and improve operational performance.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Extract and consolidate data from the Hospital Information System, electronic medical records, finance platforms, and other sources.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau and Power BI to support clinical and financial decision‑making.
- Perform statistical analysis and predictive modeling in Python to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Write complex SQL queries to clean, validate, and transform data for analysis.
- Collaborate with clinicians, finance teams, and senior leadership to translate analytical findings into actionable recommendations.
- Document data definitions, workflows, and analytical methodologies to ensure reproducibility and compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Health Informatics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably within a healthcare or financial environment.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python for data manipulation, analysis, and automation.
- Strong expertise in data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Excellent problem‑solving abilities and the capacity to communicate complex insights clearly to non‑technical stakeholders.
