Data Analyst / Analytics Engineer responsible for designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines and analytical models to support business decisions, leveraging Python, SQL, and cloud services.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL pipelines using Python and SQL to ingest, transform, and load data from diverse sources into data warehouses.
- Model and optimize data structures for analytical workloads, ensuring high performance and data integrity.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define data requirements and deliver actionable insights through dashboards and reports.
- Implement and manage data quality checks, monitoring, and alerting to guarantee reliable data for stakeholders.
- Utilize AWS services (e.g., Redshift, S3, Glue) to support data storage, processing, and security.
- Create and maintain interactive BI visualizations using tools such as Tableau or Power BI, translating complex data into clear business narratives.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a data analyst or analytics engineer, with strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
- Hands‑on experience building ETL pipelines and data models in a cloud environment, preferably AWS.
- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and performance tuning.
- Experience with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, or similar) and ability to translate business needs into visual insights.
- Strong analytical mindset, problem‑solving skills, and excellent communication abilities.
