The Data Analysis Manager will be responsible for independent data analysis for TikTok's global e-commerce products and operational strategies. This role involves measuring product performance, designing event tracking and monitoring systems, conducting A/B tests, and providing data-driven optimization suggestions to drive business growth.

The Data Science team for e-commerce at TikTok aims to provide valuable business insights to partner teams, including operations and product managers. As a Data Analysis Manager, you will be joining a team that is expanding globally, contributing to the impact of the e-commerce business.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for independent data analysis for TikTok e-commerce's global business products (e.g., merchant product, creator product) and data analysis of e-commerce overseas operation strategy (e.g., Merchant Strategy, Creator Strategy).
- Measure the performance of each e-commerce product in overseas countries and provide product optimization suggestions.
- Design event tracking systems for each module of global e-commerce products, verify their accuracy after release, and maintain these systems and specifications in subsequent versions.
- Describe business situations, explain business fluctuations, and provide valuable suggestions through reports.
- Design independent monitoring systems to reflect business changes in a timely manner.
- Design A/B tests and provide optimal product design schemes based on data performance post-launch.
- Follow up on data analysis from local operation teams in several overseas markets, support operation effectiveness, and provide follow-up optimization suggestions.
- Cooperate with PM / Ops team / R&D to promote the implementation of optimization schemes and drive actual business improvement and growth.
- Cooperate with R&D and Data PM to build data systems and user-friendly data products to support the business.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above, with a major in mathematics, statistics, or computers preferred; or a major in science or engineering, or engaged in data statistics, analysis, or modeling related work areas after graduation.
- Proficient in SQL and Tableau and familiar with Python or R for data analysis.
- At least 5 years of working experience in data analysis, with a good business sense in e-commerce product analysis preferred.
- Overseas working experience or analytical experience is preferred.
- Able to complete English reports and communicate with global staff independently.
- Possess strong learning ability and curiosity, capable of quickly acquiring domain knowledge in new areas, and can lead a small project team to support the business.
- Demonstrate a strong ability to work under pressure, overcome difficulties, and accept challenges.
