Lead the Data, AI and Automation pillar for procurement, shaping strategy, defining data standards, and delivering AI‑driven automation solutions that embed into daily procurement workflows.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the data, AI and automation strategy for the procurement function, aligning with overall business objectives.
- Identify, design and implement AI‑enabled automation opportunities across sourcing, contract management and supplier performance processes.
- Establish data standards, governance frameworks and quality controls to ensure reliable, secure, and compliant data across all procurement systems.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate AI tools and analytics platforms into existing procurement technology stacks.
- Monitor performance metrics, evaluate ROI of automation initiatives, and continuously refine models and workflows.
Requirements
- Proven experience leading data and AI initiatives within a procurement or supply chain environment.
- Strong knowledge of data governance, data architecture, and analytics best practices.
- Hands‑on expertise in AI/ML techniques, process automation tools (e.g., RPA), and data visualization platforms.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into practical solutions for business stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and change‑leadership skills.
