About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and validate data acquisition and control architectures for New Glenn launch vehicle subsystems.
- Implement embedded firmware and PLC logic, integrating CAN bus and other fieldbus protocols.
- Collaborate with systems, avionics, and test teams to define requirements, perform trade studies, and troubleshoot hardware/software issues.
- Develop and maintain test harnesses using MATLAB and LabVIEW for functional and performance verification.
- Document design decisions, create technical reports, and support certification activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in embedded systems and controls for aerospace or high‑reliability environments.
- Proficiency with PLC programming, CAN bus, and real‑time operating systems.
- Strong analytical skills, problem‑solving ability, and excellent communication.
- Experience with MATLAB, LabVIEW, and version control (Git) preferred.
