Software Engineer
Provide on‑site systems engineering and technical advisory support for a DAG program at the National Reconnaissance Office, leveraging expertise in Linux, Python, C++ development, and secure DoD environments.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver on‑site systems engineering and technical advisory services for the DAG program supporting the NRO.
- Design, integrate, and validate hardware and software components within a secure, classified environment.
- Develop and maintain scripts and tools in Python and C++ to automate testing, data acquisition, and system monitoring.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to troubleshoot complex system issues and ensure mission‑critical performance.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and contractors.
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph eligibility.
- 5+ years of experience in systems engineering and technical advisory roles, preferably within DoD or intelligence community programs.
- Proficiency in Python and C++ development on Linux platforms.
- Strong understanding of secure network integration, data acquisition, and bus architecture concepts.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a high‑security, fast‑paced environment.
