Software Engineer
Senior developer focused on building and maintaining pricing, reporting, and analytics tools for trading desks using Python and .NET, with strong SQL and DevOps skills to support production environments.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary liaison between Front Office, Sales, and Middle Office teams to understand and translate pricing, reporting, and transaction analytics requirements into technical solutions.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable Python and .NET applications that support real‑time trading workflows and data analysis.
- Manage end‑to‑end production lifecycle: deployment, configuration, monitoring, and ongoing support of systems and infrastructure.
- Provide multi‑tier support (Level 1‑3), diagnosing and resolving technical and functional incidents in a complex financial environment.
- Collect and document business requirements, ensuring alignment with regulatory and operational standards.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in Python and .NET development within a financial services context.
- Proficient in SQL and experience with data warehousing or analytics platforms.
- Strong understanding of trading systems, pricing models, and financial data pipelines.
- Hands‑on experience with DevOps practices: CI/CD, containerization, and cloud or on‑premise infrastructure management.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across cross‑functional teams.
