About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the analysis, design, and integration of Post‑Quantum Cryptography and Zero Trust technologies into HHS enterprise systems.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to modernize security architectures, ensuring seamless interoperability across cloud and on‑premise environments.
- Develop and maintain security engineering documentation, threat models, and integration guidelines for enterprise-wide adoption.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for security solutions, including incident response and vulnerability remediation.
- Evaluate emerging security technologies and recommend enhancements to strengthen the overall security posture.
Requirements
- Strong background in cybersecurity systems engineering with hands‑on experience in Zero Trust and Post‑Quantum Cryptography implementations.
- Proficiency in cloud security platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and enterprise security integration tools.
- Experience designing and deploying security architectures across large, distributed environments.
- U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain a government security clearance.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with stakeholders and produce clear technical documentation.
