Research Engineer
Lead advanced cybersecurity research, combining reverse engineering and digital signal processing to uncover and mitigate emerging threats. Leverage deep technical expertise and a valid security clearance to protect national assets across multiple domains.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth reverse engineering of malware and advanced persistent threats to identify attack vectors and develop mitigation strategies.
- Apply digital signal processing techniques to analyze and decode encrypted or obfuscated communications used by adversaries.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate research findings into defensive tooling and threat intelligence platforms.
- Produce detailed technical reports, white papers, and presentations for senior stakeholders and external partners.
- Maintain and enhance automated analysis pipelines, ensuring scalability and reliability for large‑scale threat data.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience in reverse engineering, malware analysis, and threat hunting.
- Strong background in digital signal processing and signal analysis.
- Valid security clearance (or ability to obtain) and willingness to work on classified projects.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to translate complex technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
