About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain SIEM solutions to detect, analyze, and respond to security incidents across automotive networks.
- Lead incident response activities, coordinating with engineering teams to contain and remediate threats.
- Develop and refine threat intelligence feeds specific to automotive cyber‑risk, integrating them into security tooling.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration tests on vehicle‑connected systems, producing actionable remediation plans.
- Collaborate with product and firmware teams to embed security controls into the automotive development lifecycle.
- Document security incidents, root causes, and lessons learned for continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations, preferably in automotive or connected‑vehicle environments.
- Proficiency with SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) and incident response frameworks.
- Strong understanding of automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet) and related security challenges.
- Hands‑on experience with threat intelligence gathering and vulnerability management tools.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
