Security Engineer
Lead advanced cybersecurity initiatives for a large Air Force portfolio, designing secure architectures, managing threat intelligence, and driving incident response across multiple programs and stakeholders.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and implement secure solutions for over 200 ISR SOF programs, ensuring compliance with Air Force and DoD standards.
- Lead threat intelligence analysis, identifying emerging risks and developing mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate incident response across CONUS and OCONUS units, managing investigations and post‑incident reviews.
- Collaborate with program managers, developers, and operations teams to embed security throughout the development lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and training materials for diverse stakeholders.
Requirements
- 10+ years of cybersecurity experience in a defense or government environment.
- Deep knowledge of network security, secure architecture, and incident response frameworks.
- Proficiency with threat intelligence platforms, SIEM, and vulnerability management tools.
- Strong communication skills and ability to influence cross‑functional teams.
- Security clearance (or ability to obtain) and familiarity with DoD acquisition processes.
