About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain robust security architectures for mission‑critical spacecraft and ground systems.
- Conduct threat modeling, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing to identify and remediate risks.
- Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and incident response plans across multidisciplinary teams.
- Collaborate with software, hardware, and operations engineers to integrate security controls into the development lifecycle.
- Analyze security events, investigate incidents, and provide actionable recommendations to mitigate future risks.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering, with a focus on network and system security.
- Proficiency in security tools (e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS, vulnerability scanners) and scripting (Python, Bash).
- Strong understanding of secure software development practices and compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.
