About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage enterprise‑scale firewall solutions, primarily using Palo Alto Networks platforms.
- Develop and enforce security policies, rule sets, and segmentation strategies across multiple sites.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and respond to firewall alerts, VPN issues, and IDS/IPS events to maintain a robust security posture.
- Collaborate with network and infrastructure teams to integrate security controls into new and existing architectures.
- Lead initiatives to harden the network, conduct risk assessments, and recommend improvements to the overall security framework.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience with enterprise firewalls, especially Palo Alto Networks.
- Strong background in network security concepts, VPN technologies, and IDS/IPS solutions.
- Proven ability to develop and manage security policies and rule sets in complex, multi‑site environments.
- Experience with security monitoring, incident response, and vulnerability mitigation.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., PCNSE, CISSP, CEH) or equivalent practical expertise.
