Security Engineer
We're looking for a Security Engineer focused on designing and building scalable technical solutions. This mid level role requires 8+ years of relevant experience.
About the role
Creating and maintaining Assessment & Authorization (A&A) packages in Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) and Marine Corps Compliance and Authorization Support Tool (MCCAST)
Address Security Controls in compliance with 85001.01 and 8510.01
Work with customers and vendors to become knowledgeable with new systems from a technical perspective in support of Cybersecurity requirements
Role requires the ability to apply technical principles, theories, and concepts in support of Navy & Marine Corps systems
Establish and satisfies complex system-wide information security requirements based upon the analysis of user, policy, regulatory and resource demands
Supports customers at the highest levels in the development and implementation of doctrine and policies
Apply expertise to government and commercial common user systems, as well as to dedicated special purpose systems requiring specialized security features and procedures
Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (preferred)
Minimum of 5-12 years relevant experience
Active DoD 8140/DoD 8570 certification (Security+)
Must possess an active Secret clearance
U.S. citizenship is required
Excellent written and verbal communication
Access to eMASS or MCCAST
Experience in supporting DoD programs and systems with STIG implementation
FEDRAMP compliance is a plus
Experience using Microsoft Visio or equivalent tools for architecture and data flow diagrams.
