Cybersecurity Engineer driving design, implementation, and automation of advanced security controls across SOC, Vulnerability Management, and DLP programs, ensuring confidentiality, integrity, and availability of critical assets.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and automate security controls for the Security Operations Center (SOC), Vulnerability Management, and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) programs.
- Develop and maintain incident response playbooks, threat hunting scripts, and automation workflows using Python and related tooling.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to assess risk, remediate findings, and enforce security best practices across the organization.
- Monitor security alerts, conduct root‑cause analysis, and provide actionable recommendations to improve detection and response capabilities.
- Stay current on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and industry standards to proactively enhance the security posture.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of hands‑on experience in SOC operations, vulnerability management, or DLP initiatives.
- Proficiency in Python scripting for automation and data analysis.
- Strong understanding of threat intelligence, incident response, and security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
