About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy security solutions across cloud and on‑prem environments, leveraging AWS services and Python scripting.
- Conduct comprehensive vulnerability assessments and penetration tests, identifying gaps and recommending remediation strategies.
- Analyze complex security incidents, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate incident response activities.
- Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and best practices aligned with federal regulations and industry frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate security controls into system architecture and application development lifecycles.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field; advanced certifications (CISSP, CEH, or equivalent) preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering, risk assessment, and incident response.
- Proficiency in Python, AWS security services (e.g., IAM, KMS, GuardDuty), and network security tools.
- Strong understanding of risk management frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001) and security policy development.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
