Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and security specialists to design and implement security controls across all IT systems and platforms.
- Assess current security posture, identify gaps, and recommend architecture enhancements to reduce risk and meet business objectives.
- Ensure implemented solutions align with cybersecurity architecture goals—availability, scalability, performance, and security—and monitor progress.
- Document security requirements, design decisions, and compliance status for audit and regulatory purposes.
- Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders to translate security needs into actionable plans.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, risk assessment, and security architecture frameworks.
- Experience working with cross‑functional teams to implement security controls and monitor compliance.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR, ISO 27001) and ability to apply them to IT environments.
- Excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency in documenting security requirements, architecture diagrams, and audit findings.
