Security Engineer
Mid‑level engineer responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing cybersecurity solutions for Air Force systems, applying the Risk Management Framework, conducting vulnerability assessments, and guiding a team through complex network security challenges.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and deployment of security architectures that meet Air Force RMF requirements.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and risk analyses on network and system components.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and documentation aligned with DoD standards.
- Supervise a technical team, providing guidance on troubleshooting, incident response, and remediation efforts.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to recommend security tools, technologies, and strategies that mitigate identified risks.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity or systems engineering, preferably supporting defense or federal customers.
- Strong knowledge of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and related DoD security controls.
- Hands‑on experience with network security devices, vulnerability scanning tools, and incident response processes.
- Proven ability to lead technical teams and communicate complex security concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or DoD‑specific credentials are highly desirable.
