About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct risk assessments and apply DoD RMF guidance to protect mission-critical systems.
- Perform Security Test and Evaluation (ST&E) to identify and remediate vulnerabilities.
- Lead vulnerability assessment activities and coordinate remediation across development teams.
- Support Authorization and Accreditation (A&A) processes throughout the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement secure architecture solutions.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations within a DoD or similar environment.
- Proficiency with RMF, ST&E, and A&A frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of vulnerability assessment tools and secure SDLC practices.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, GSEC) preferred.
